Meet Luke Radney
Luke Radney is the founder of DFW Disability Lawyer™. He is a Texas-based disability lawyer primarily operating in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Mr. Radney was born in Dallas and raised by a family that valued honest, hard work. His family and many friends worked in construction. Before he was a lawyer, Mr. Radney worked with welders and pipefitters at a boiler service company and with wood framers building homes. These experiences forged Mr. Radney’s ethics of determination and persistence. They also opened his eyes to how devastating it is when someone can no longer work, whether because of illness or injury.
Luke Radney has advocated for the disabled for nearly 20 years. Mr. Radney is a graduate of Texas A&M University and received his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston. The Texas Supreme Court licensed Mr. Radney to practice law in 2007. He is also licensed to practice before the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western federal district courts in Texas.
Mr. Radney cut his teeth working on federal court cases involving disability insurance claims under ERISA and Social Security disability claims as a law clerk before graduating from law school. He then transitioned to work as a lawyer representing the disabled in 2007.
Since then, Luke Radney has served clients in high-stakes civil litigation across the State of Texas with The Radney Law Firm, P.C., Burt Barr & Associates, L.L.P., and others. He has appeared in courts throughout the state in hearings and trials. Mr. Radney has represented individuals as well as public and private businesses in litigation. He is AV Preeminent® rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which is “given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.” and was selected as a “Rising Star” by Thompson Reuters in SuperLawyers® for 2012-2019.
Mr. Radney is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), the Dallas Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. His long-standing dedication to advocating for and serving those struggling with disability and financial difficulties continues to this day.
